LION SUPPORTED YOUTH PROGRAMS

Peace Poster Contest:        Open to all schools ages 11-13. Kits available from your local Lions         Clubs or Lions International. The new contest year began January 2004.  The theme for this year's poster is "Give Peace a Chance."  All posters will be due to the District Governor by November 15, 2004.  Contact Lion Doug Demian at 440 582-3056 or Lion Neil Sheeley at 440 582-0344 for more information.

Lions GOOD Program:     Gives recognition to students at various schools for their community work and school work ethics. Contact your Local Lions Club for more information or Lion Doug Demian at 440 582-3056

Lions Quest Program:       Program promotes life skills in our youth emphasizing community service, drug awareness and communications.  There are 3 separate programs, grades K-5, 6-8 and, 9-12.  Information is available through our youth chairman Lion Doug Demian at 440 582-3056.

LEO CLUBS and ACTIVITIES:

Brook Park Leo Club:      Holds a "DJ" Night once a month for youngsters aged between 8 and 14. Cost of admission is $6 for non-Brook Park resident, $5 for residents of Brook Park and if you bring a can of food for the hunger bank, you will get $1 off entrance fee.  Contact Lion Tina Dickinson at godsproperty2@adelphia,net for more info.
